Robson Civil Projects Named Finalists in 2026 CCF Earth Awards

Robson Civil Projects is proud to have two major projects recognised as finalists in the 2026 Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Awards: the Eraring Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and the Mt Arthur Rehabilitation and Land Management Project.

This achievement reflects the breadth of capability across our business and the strength of our teams in delivering complex, large-scale civil infrastructure and environmental outcomes across New South Wales.

Supporting the Energy Transition: Eraring BESS

The Eraring Battery Energy Storage System is one of Australia’s most significant energy infrastructure projects, playing a critical role in supporting the transition to renewable energy.

Our involvement in the project required the delivery of large-scale civil works within a highly constrained and interface-heavy environment, working alongside multiple stakeholders and contractors.

From managing complex site conditions and integrated traffic movements, to implementing innovative environmental controls and material reuse strategies, the project demonstrates the capability required to deliver critical infrastructure at scale.

Recognition as a finalist highlights not only the technical complexity of the works, but the collaborative effort required to deliver infrastructure that will support system reliability and energy security into the future.

Delivering Lasting Environmental Outcomes: Mt Arthur

Mt Arthur Rehabilitation and Land Management

The Mt Arthur Coal Rehabilitation and Land Management Project represents a different, but equally important, aspect of our industry—restoring land and creating sustainable, long-term outcomes.

This project involved the careful rehabilitation and reshaping of previously disturbed land, with a strong focus on environmental stewardship, landform design and future usability.

Successful delivery required a long-term approach, balancing operational requirements with environmental objectives to ensure the land can support future uses beyond mining operations.

Being named a finalist acknowledges the dedication, planning and care invested in achieving meaningful rehabilitation outcomes that leave a lasting legacy.

Recognising Our People and Industry

To have both projects recognised in the same year is a proud moment for Robson Civil Projects and reflects the commitment, expertise and collaboration of our people and partners.

These projects demonstrate the diverse role our industry plays—from enabling the energy transition through critical infrastructure, to restoring land and supporting sustainable future use.

We congratulate everyone involved in reaching this important milestone and look forward to celebrating alongside our industry peers at the CCF Awards on Friday 19 June.
