Robson Civil Projects is currently delivering enabling and civil works for the M1 Twin Service Centres, a major roadside infrastructure development designed to support growing traffic volumes along one of New South Wales’ key transport corridors.
The project involves the concurrent delivery of large-scale bulk earthworks and detailed civil infrastructure across dual sites, supporting the construction of service facilities on both sides of the motorway.
The scope of works includes:
Bulk earthworks including large-scale cut and fill operations
Construction of building pads and forecourt areas
Heavy duty pavement construction for light and heavy vehicles
Installation of underground services including stormwater, sewer and water
Surface water management and drainage infrastructure
Construction of internal road networks and parking facilities
Coordination with service authorities and multiple contractors
Staging and site preparation to support concurrent delivery

Project Highlights
Dual Site Delivery - Civil works are being delivered simultaneously across two opposing sites, requiring careful staging, programming and resource allocation to maintain efficiency and alignment between both developments.
High Traffic Interface - Works are being undertaken adjacent to the live M1 motorway, with stringent traffic management controls in place to ensure the safety of motorists and site personnel while maintaining uninterrupted traffic flow.
Complex Services Coordination - Extensive service installation and tie-ins require ongoing coordination with multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless integration with future service centre operations.
Heavy Duty Pavements Pavement - structures are being constructed to accommodate high volumes of heavy vehicle movements, including fuel tankers and freight traffic, ensuring long-term durability and performance.
