Casey joined Robson in 2023 as our People and Culture Manager, bringing years of practical experience across the heavy industry sector. With a proactive approach and a passion for fostering a positive work environment, Casey has quickly made this role her own. Since joining, she has strengthened our People and Culture team, implemented best-practice HR strategies, and helped ensure Robson continues to grow with a strong, supportive company culture.

Peter took over the ownership and management of Robson from his father Ron Robson in 1968. Since then he has played an integral role in growing Robson to be one of the leading civil contractors on the east coast of NSW. Peter became Chairman of the Robson Board of Directors when it was established in 2007. Peter is passionate about community welfare and since 1973 has been involved with several organisations working with intellectually handicapped children and adults.

Bob Critchley is a Strategic Business Advisor, Company Director and published author, and is an independent Robson Board member and Deputy Chairman. He was previously International President for DBM Inc., the World’s largest global outplacement and career Management Company. Bob has over 30 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry within Australia and overseas as well as developing his own successful business. He is currently a Director of companies covering Blinds and Security Door manufacturing, Pool Chemicals, as well as The Sydney Swans Foundation.

Grant has been working in the Robson business for over 30 years and was appointed Managing Director in 2011. With hands on experience and diverse knowledge of the business, having worked his way up through the company starting out as an apprentice mechanic, Grant has forged a strong relationship with the work force. Today, he heads a solid, stable management team dedicated to implementing the family values that have made Robson a reputable and formidable leader in civil construction earthworks. Grant is responsible for ensuring safe work practices for over 200 employees and is committed to undertaking regular visits across all Robson worksites. He is passionate about the future of Robson and its potential for continued growth across a number of sectors and regions.

Mark began his career with Robson in 1984 and was involved in various hands-on positions involving maintenance, plant management, haulage operations, purchasing and property before his appointment to the role of Services Manager in 2008. With a background in diesel mechanics Mark is responsible for the overall maintenance of Robson’s plant and light vehicle fleet. Mark is strongly committed to ensuring safe work practices for all Robson maintenance employees and is proud of the division’s longevity in being LTI free.

Lauren joined Robson as an Assistant Accountant after several years working in private practice, and has subsequently acquired over 15 years’ experience in the civil construction industry.  Lauren is a Certified Practising Accountant, a member of CPA Australia, and has held various positions under the Robson Finance umbrella before her appointment as Chief Financial Officer in May 2023.

With responsibility for assisting in achieving the strategic goals of the business, financial forecasting, tracking cash flow and financial analysis, Lauren oversees the Finance and Administration team to ensure correct business practices are adhered to across the various business units.

Chris joined Robson in 2012 and has over 22 years’ construction industry experience, specialising in large scale civil infrastructure projects. Chris led the Newcastle/Hunter Valley Division for 8 years before his appointment as General Manager – Construction in 2024. Chris’ experience spans across many aspects of civil construction, including, but not limited to road, concrete works, piling works, marine works, pipework, and mechanical works. Chris assumes overall responsibility for the leadership and operational management of Robson Civil Projects and his wealth of knowledge of project delivery, commercial management and leadership skills will be key to Robson’s strategic business goals being achieved.

Daniel began his career with Robson in 2007 as a graduate from University and has worked his way through the Project Management ranks before being appointed as Division Manager in July 2019. Daniel has worked on a vast array of projects including RMS roadworks, works in the rail corridor, mining infrastructure, residential subdivisions and large commercial developments. Daniel oversaw the Central Coast and Sydney Divisions for 2.5 years prior to Robson making these separate Divisions. Daniel now assumes overall responsibility for the leadership and operational management for project works along the Central Coast to Newcastle corridor.

Tim joined Robson in 2019 as a Project Manager and has worked across Sydney on key projects for Robson such as the Western North-South Link Road, Rosehill Sustainable Road Resource Centre and Hawksbury Waste Management Facility. In 2024, Tim was appointed the Division Manager role, and his well-respected leadership will be integral to the ongoing growth of the Sydney division.

David joined the Robson team in 2010 as Senior Estimator with a background in Construction Management and Quantity Surveying. He was appointed Estimating Manager in 2013 and in this role he oversees the team of Robson’s estimators which is responsible for the submission, tendering and negotiation for construction projects for all business units.

Greg began his career with Robson in 1998. Working his way up through the ranks, he has held various roles prior to his appointment to Plant Manager in 2011. With a background in heavy vehicle mechanics and 10 years previous site management experience across a number of multifaceted civil construction disciplines, Greg is well placed to oversee Robson’s large fleet of late model plant, operators and sub-contractor management.

Since joining Robson in September 2022, Tom has been dedicated to overseeing HSEQ and business functional systems, ensuring the company operates with compliant and flexible processes that meet both industry standards and the needs of key clients. This includes maintaining certifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, while also adhering to Client Standards and Project Specifications. Now in the role of HSEQ Manager, Tom leads a team of safety and environmental professionals, with the HSEQ team providing assurance to both internal and external stakeholders across all service areas. Tom’s primary responsibilities revolve around prioritising safety at every level of the business while gaining a competitive advantage through the development of industry-leading best practices and value-driven management systems.

Michael joined Robson in 2014 and has over 30 years’ experience in civil construction. Michael is well versed in the delivery of significant, large-scale infrastructure projects for both Government agencies and private developers. In 2024, Michael was appointed to the Divisional Manager role for the Newcastle & Hunter Valley region. Michael’s vast experience across roadworks, sub-division, bridge, mining, and water & wastewater infrastructure, enables him to support project teams in all aspects of project delivery, to complete works within agreed time, budget, safety, quality, and environmental requirements while ensuring all stakeholders requirements are prioritised and delivered.

Ty joined Robson in 2014 as a Project Engineer and has since played a key role in the successful delivery of projects across multiple divisions and disciplines. As the business identified growth opportunities in the Central West region — including Dubbo, Mudgee, and surrounding areas — Ty embraced the challenge, relocating with his family to Dubbo in 2022.

Now serving as Division Manager for the region, Ty is leading Robson’s expansion with a strong focus on delivering quality outcomes and fostering long-term growth. Drawing on the experience and values gained throughout his career with Robson; Ty is committed to building a strong and sustainable presence in the Central West.
