Robson Civil Projects is proud to be participating in the CCF NSW Women in Civil Mentoring Program in 2026, marking the first year the company has been involved in the initiative.
The program aims to support and encourage women within the civil construction industry through mentorship, professional development, networking and leadership opportunities.
Last Thursday, four Robson mentees, accompanied by People and Culture Manager Casey Samuels, attended the CCF NSW Women in Civil Community Celebration Lunch as part of the official mentoring program launch.
Representing Robson in this year’s program (from left to right) are:
- Cody Hollingworth – Construction Apprentice
- Sophie McGuire – Project Manager
- Jemma Mathews – Trainee Environmental Coordinator
- Madeline Stevens – Engineering Surveyor

Ahead of the lunch, the participants had the opportunity to meet their mentors before joining industrypeers for an inspiring afternoon focused on connection, leadership and the growing opportunities for women within civil construction.
A key theme throughout the event was the importance of representation and showcasing the diverse career pathways available across the industry, from operational and site-based roles through to professional and leadership positions.
As part of Robson’s first cohort in the program, the company is proud to have women represented across such a broad range of roles and disciplines within the business.
Events like the Women in Civil Community Celebration Lunch continue to highlight the positive momentum building across the civil construction industry and the importance of creating pathways that support the growth and development of women in the sector.
Robson Civil Projects is proud to support initiatives that encourage development, create opportunities and help strengthen the future of women in civil construction.
A big thank you to CCF NSW for hosting such a meaningful event, and congratulations to everyone involved in the 2026 mentoring program.
