M1 Twin Service Stations Cooranbong

We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with PC Infrastructure and Groundswell to deliver the civil infrastructure for a major project development approximately 6km North of Morisset.

The new M1Twin Service Centres at Cooranbong will provide a safe rest stop along this busy motorway as well as EV charging stations, and food outlets.

The project will include 30,000m3 of concrete supply in pavements, bridge construction over Jemena and Ampol assets, retaining wall and slope stabilisation on entry & exit ramps.

Robson’s project scope includes:

  • Internal Civil Works
  • Internal service reticulations
  • ASP1 service relocations
  • External roadworks including ingress and egress ramps onto the M1 under a Works Authorisation Deed (WAD)
  • Lead In Services
  • 5-year Vegetation Management Plan

This substantial project has a large project team working behind the scenes, getting prepared to break ground later this month. Essentially two project sites, site compounds will be set up on the Northbound and Southbound sides of the project.

Robson’s General Manager, Chris Janetzki said “We’re excited to be collaborating with PC Infrastructure and Groundswell Engineers on this major project, which is set to deliver lasting benefits for both the local community and M1 commuters.

By bringing together the combined strengths of our teams, we’re committed to delivering an outcome that meets the needs of today while building for the future.”
