The Construction Worker Apprenticeship Program was introduced in 2017 in conjunction with the NSW Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) as a structured entry point for school leavers looking to pursue a career in the civil construction industry rather than focus on other more traditional trades. The program works closely with TAFE NSW and the CCF to offer a certificate course that responds to the ever-changing needs of the industry in terms of the specific skills that apply.
Robson’ Civil Construction Apprentices will be multi-skilled utilising modern construction methodologies and leveraging new technologies. On completion of this 3-year apprenticeship, individuals will achieve a nationally recognised qualification which can be further built upon for progression into supervision and management.
As a key industry employer, Robson has seen several rounds of students complete their apprenticeship and believes that it is important that these apprenticeship programs are developed to recognised standards whilst providing a practical and exciting route into the civil construction industry.
You can express their interest in the program by providing details in our EOI form (be sure to click ‘Apprenticeships’ in the ‘Type of Role’ section). From there, you’ll go into our database and will be contacted before an upcoming Apprenticeships intake to officially apply.
