Western Sydney’s Aerotropolis is booming—and Robson Civil Projects is right at the heart of its transformation. The company has commenced its third major intersection upgrade along Mamre Road, tackling the busy Mamre–Abbotts Road intersection in Kemps Creek. This critical link between the M4 Motorway and the new Western Sydney Airport demands precision, and Robson is delivering.
Engineering Excellence on a Key Arterial Route
The works include road widening, new traffic signals, stormwater, culverts as well as extensive utility installations and relocations.
“This is a key arterial route, and planning is everything,” says Tim Dillon, Robson’s Sydney Division Manager. “We’ve invested heavily in early contractor involvement to ensure access for surrounding stakeholders and road users remains uninterrupted throughout the project.”
A Proven Track Record
This latest upgrade builds on Robson’s impressive track record: previous intersections at Bakers Lane and Darrabarra Avenue, plus the near-complete Abbotts Road/Aldington Road upgrade, have cemented Robson as a trusted delivery partner for developers across the Aerotropolis and Mamre Road Precinct. This expertise enables private investors to fast-track complex roadworks and lead-in infrastructure, unlocking industrial potential and accelerating returns.
Recognition has followed. The Darrabarra Avenue project (pictured above) was recently named a finalist in the 2025 Civil Contractors Federation Awards, a testament to Robson’s ability to meet critical deadlines while managing complex staging and utility coordination.
Looking Ahead
Works are now underway at Mamre-road/Abbotts Road intersection with completion of this critical link expected in early 2027.
